St. Brides Bay

Broad Haven is ideal for family holidays and the house is situated 250 metres from the golden sands. The beach is a paradise for children. It is one of the finest and safest in Pembrokeshire. Below the cliffs there are numerous rock pools and on the North end of the beach is the craggy Lions Head.

There are many other fabulous beaches within easy reach of Broad Haven - Little Haven - 2 miles, Druidstone - 2 miles, Newgale - 6 miles and Dale

Pembrokeshire has something for everyone. Broad Haven is 6 miles West of Haverfordwest and is perfectly situated for access to the National Coastal Path . It is the ideal spot for those who love the outdoor life, sport and the wildlife with breathtaking facilities on your doorstep for surfing, boardsailing, boating, fishing, and walking. For fun and adventure try Oakwood Leisure Park with it's many rides, about 6 miles from Haverfordwest on the Caermarthen road.

Fishguard and Pembroke are terminals to and from Ireland and offer high speed Hover Craft day trips.

St David's with its beautiful old cathedral, where St David the Patron Saint of Wales was born, is on the northern side of St Brides Bay.

Pembrokeshire is renowned for rural crafts, pottery, arts and local cheeses and produce.

There are the islands of Skomer, Skokholm, Grassholm, and Ramsey, which are famous breeding colonies for seabirds and the Atlantic Grey seals. All these places are within a short driving distance from Broad Haven. There are regular boat trips to the islands during the summer months.
